Thursday May 28

It's been awhile...and its because my parents decided they don't like paying bills. I don't have internet or phone; I'm at my internship site writing this as I wrap up my last day here at the Media Arts Center.

On the brighter side, everything about high school in coming to a close, and in a few days, I will do my senior presentation and graduate and move out. Sound great to me!

Thursday May 7

Post AP English exam time. It was way easier than I thought or at least trained for. I felt knowledgeable about all the multiple choice questions and it was just time that got to me. The essays were a little troublesome, especially the last one but I think I did exceptional, like a 4 or 5 good. I need it too, UA won't accept 3s. Its still funny to me how the MVAS kids blew it off.

NO!!! All my music is down. Most of the music on my computer had been downloaded from SpiralFrog and after the site went down, all their songs had an expiration date and I guess it was today. Great.

MTS is supposed to tell me if my essay was good enough for a free laptop.

Monday May 4

I'm not trying to be bothersome but my essay for Compassion and Choices about euthanasia got turned down! I busted my ass on that essay and out of 400 people I wasn't even a finalist! I really needed the money too.

Completely opposite, CSU Summer Arts doubled my scholarship money to go to Fresno for the summer! I would still need to pay $300 but that's at least manageable. Unfortunately I have freshman orientation at the same time as the screenwriting classes, but I can still make it to the fiction writing class. I'm going to stay in touch with their coordinator on email to settle this out.

AP English exam in: 4 days

Friday, May 1

I wasn't late today, woohoo.

Internship was the same thing but the time went by faster today for some reason.

Then in about an hour I went to a candlelight vigil for Lucya Lopez, she died in a car accident along with some of her friends. We walked from Colina to Crawford where we had a moment of silence and prayer at the front gate. Then we walked down Trojan Ave to Lucya's house where we had another moment of silence. From there we wrapped up the vigil by returning to Colina Park where Lucya's parents said a few words and everyone blew out their candles.

Tomorrow I have a study session at 8 am, it should be fun. Free food, that's cool.
